Amidoscan in 5 arguments

  • The Amidoscan enables precise, reliable readings with a repeatability rate of 0.2%—far superior to human assessment.

  • It is fast: a sample of 20 fruits is analyzed in less than one minute.

  • The operator places the fruit halves—which have been coated with an iodine solution about ten minutes prior—onto the tray; the Amidoscan captures an image of each half-apple and determines the starch grade (from 1 to 10) based on the Ctifl scale.

  • Once processing is complete, the result is displayed showing the sample average; individual fruit values ​​and the captured images are also viewable.
